Bandai Namco a annoncé que SD Gundam G Generation Genesis sortira en 2016 au Japon sur PS4, PS3 et PS Vita.
Ce Tactical-RPG s'intègre dans un projet visant à célébrer le 30ème anniversaire de la licence Gundam.
Ce nouvel opus devrait bénéficier de graphismes améliorés et s'appuiera en partie sur des systèmes de jeu familiers. Il disposera d'environ 650 mechas provenant des séries suivantes (de Mobile Suit Gundam à UC) :
